Sorry about last week’s short letter, the library only allows you 15 minutes without a library card, and you need a piece of mail to get one, I still haven't gotten any mail, so i am borrowing another missionaries library card, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't send mail!Elder Stevens is from Bear Lake and he is quite tall, but I am used to having a tall companion, Elder Young was tall as well. Elder Steven is pretty close to going home, he has about 10 weeks left (if he's trunky, he's hiding it very well).Him and I cover about two counties just East of Knoxville, one county is quite urban and the other is moderately rural. There are a lot of horse lovers in our area, and my allergies don't let me forget it. The last few days have been sunny and warm (comparatively) but we are supposed to be getting more nasty weather this next week, starting today with some rain and cloud coverage. When I first got here the number of people we were teaching was small, but we are finally getting some people to let us teach them. If things go right we will be baptizing shortly. If things don't go right we will be baptizing eventually. I hope you all enjoy your week, don't let the weather get you down. Love Elder Jose

I am back in the city. Chillhowee is just east of Knoxville, they are practically rubbing shoulders. My new companion is Elder Stevens and he is from Bear Lake, and went to Montpelier for High school, He said he knew Katie. Anyway I thought I had left the snow up north but it seems to have followed me. I have to cut things short, I can only e-mail a little without a library card and I can't get a card without ma piece of mail, so send me mail I and will write more love you

They are shipping me somewhere else this Wednesday. I hate packing... and leaving Areas. It's seems that they wait until you just get attached before they make you leave. I have to admit though I am ready for a change of scenery. I think Bishop Wood put it best when he said that this was "no place for young people". I am ready for a fresh area. I'll let you know where that is next P-Day. 'Till then, Happy Valentines day. Love Y'all.Elder Jose

This past week seemed to cruise on by. Most of our appointments fell through this week because of the snow or other various reasons. Speaking of today is like perfect snowboard weather, the sun is shining and the snow is deep. It really makes me wish I could have been to Targhee with you guys. Make sure I get pictures, My package should be on the way soon.Anyways, we were able to teach a family that we have been working with for the past month. They finally realized the gravity of our message and now they are a little more motivated to read and pray. At first I was nervous because of the way they initially received it, but Elder Young came to the rescue by inviting the spirit with a powerful testimony. The more I have thought about it, as long as they pay attention to the spirit they won't reject this message. I have faith in them. Have fun with the snow, I love you guys.Elder Jose
